I choose Augusta
I’m a native Virginian who relocated to the Augusta area a few years ago after living in a few other places. Soldiering is in my blood – I enlisted in the Army as a teenager, serving as an infantryman for several years before earning an ROTC scholarship and eventually being retired as a first lieutenant. Since then I have enjoyed working in the publishing industry, managing the IT department for a dot-com, working for a defense contractor (with a bonus of 3 all-expense-paid deployments to Iraq) – and helped raise two very bright sons who I am proud of. I’m proud to call Augusta home, and I hopes to be a fresh voice in the State House, advocating for principled, responsible and competent government to carry us through what are likely to be very rough years.
